PIPE DESIGN APPLYING ASME STANDARDS "American Society of Mechanical Engineers"
GENERAL OBJECTIVE:
To ensure that the participants acquire the necessary competencies for the Design, Selection, Construction, Operation and Maintenance of Piping Systems. This is done in order that the participants can perform the aforementioned operations optimally and safely.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
  • Manage the codes, norms and standards used in the design and construction of piping systems.
  • Mastery of the processes involved in the design of Pipes applying ASME standards.
  • Identify the materials used in the manufacture of the pipes.
  • Considerations on arrangement (layout) and pipe supports.
  • Types of flanges, gaskets and bolts.
  • Valve functions.
  • Fundamentals of thermal flexibility analysis.

  • Mastery of the processes involved in the design of Pressure Vessels applying ASME standards.
  • Identify the materials used in the manufacture of Pressure Vessels.
